George Kapiniaris is one of this country’s best loved comedy, music and TV stars – having had an incredible impact on Greek-Australian popular culture over the last twenty six years.
His claim to fame was his starring role in the hugely popular stage show ‘Wogs Out Of work’. Since then, the Australian public has continued to see him use his Greek heritage as inspiration for future roles and performances.
He developed his popular style of ethnic comedy at Rusden College and with fellow student Simon Palomares formed ‘The Tiboldi Brothers’, a stand-up comedy duo, in 1985.
Straight away they were labelled as pioneers in Ethnic Humour in this country.
We all loved him as DJ in ‘The Flying Doctors’ and who could forget his starring role as the manic waiter Memo in TV’s ‘Acropolis Now’ from 1989 to 1992, a show which he co-produced & co-created). Since 1992 George has also been the front man of his 70’s cover band ‘The Flares’.

Swanee’s first major chart success was a great rendition of Tim Hardin’s “If I were a Carpenter” from the album “This Time It’s Different”. Success with the next 2 singles from the album immediately followed. “Lady what’s Your Name” and “Temporary Heartache” both screamed straight up the charts.

Living Legend, blues-rock guitarist, Kevin Borich has over the years established a reputation as one of Australia’s most respected music men, and is regarded as a Musician’s musician.
With a career that spans over 40 years, Kevin has performed with artists such as Carlos Santana, Ritchie Blackmore, Joe Walsh, and Ron Wood, just to name a few.
New Zealand born, Kevin arrived in Australia in the 60s’ with the band called “The La De Das”, for which he wrote the classic hit, “Gonna See My Baby Tonight”, and even graced the stages of most Australian rock events throughout the 70s’ such as the Sunbury Music Festival.
After the La De Das, Kevin went on to form the “Kevin Borich Express”, releasing the albums, “Heartstarter”, “One Night Jam”, “Live at the Big Kahuna”, and “Nomad”, which have become must have vinyls for any lover of Australian Music history.
Although one of the hardest working musicians in Australia, Kevin can not tour forever, so do yourself a favour and see this magnificent performer live at least once while you have that opportunity.

Omar Dean was a 20 year-old contestant from Melbourne, Victoria who auditioned for The X Factor singing “Climax” by Usher. Dean stated that his own desire and passion plus the ongoing encouragement from family and friends inspired him to audition. At the age of 15, Dean was bullied at school for being overweight and he turned to music to cope with the bullying. Dean’s mother, Rania, then sent him to the United States to start a health kick. He later returned to Australia as a completely different person with a hunger and drive to succeed that he had never had before…..and this dogged determination plus his vocal ability have seen him edge his way into the Australian music scene, and he continues to do grow as a recording artist.

Famed 70’s Blue Eyed Soul, Australian Super-group Stylus returns for a concert tour in Australia this July/August 2015.
